10 Questions to get to know Gerald Anderson more!

Dipping in the pool, Kapamilya hunk actor Gerald Anderson answered ten questions that reveal more of his childhood and the things and people he values most.

In this special feature, Gerald took a quick break from swimming and responded to ten random questions. First was about the most favorite thing he did growing up, and that’s none other than outdoor playtime with friends. He’s thankful that he got to experience that but he regrets that kids today aren’t as carefree.

One thing he misses about the old days is living life with no worries, “’Yung gigising ka sa umaga na walang iniisip.

Gerald spent his childhood moving back and forth United States and the Philippines until they finally settled in General Santos City when he was 14. Asked one major event from his younger years, he remembered watching The Filipino Channel (TFC), as if it was a vision of his destiny as an actor.

His father was his greatest inspiration growing up. He said his dad may be a simple but did big things for the family.

His funniest travel experience happened in Hawaii with friends – and sharks. Napakaingay namin tapos nagtutulakan kami.”

If he could travel back to the past, he’d live at a time when life was simpler. He actually thinks about the past of way of living every time they’re in Masbate filming the upcoming series “A Family Affair.” ‘Yung means of transportation nila kabayo. ‘Yun ang gusto ko ma-experience,” shared Gerald.

As for his most cherished possession, he said he owns a bracelet with crucifix that gives him comfort, “’Pag suot ko ‘yun parang at the end of the day, kahit anong mangyari, He will always be there for us. He’ll always find a way para malagpasan natin kung ano man ‘yung pinagdadaanan natin, kung saan tayo anxious or hindi tayo sigurado.”

From his accolades as an actor to big achievements outside showbiz, Gerald has truly made a lot of his dreams happen. But his proudest accomplishment is staying grounded despite his success, “Hindi ko nakalimutan kung sino ako.

He was also asked his hidden talent but he’d rather keep it to himself because “’Pag ni-reveal ko ‘yun, hind na ‘yung hidden ‘di ba?”
