After astounding us with her impressive performances in the 2018 afternoon romance series Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi and 2019 primetime crime drama Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa, and entertaining us at the same time with her video blogs on her YouTube channel, Ivana Alawi is set to amaze us anew through her much-awaited, not to mention grandest, gig to date.

Two weeks after she inked her exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, the fast-rising sexy actress was presented to take on the titular role of the upcoming Kapamilya Gold soap opera Ang Lihim ni Ligaya during its story conference held last February 20.

This serves as her biggest break after portraying supporting characters in the previous series she was in and her reunion project with Kit Thompson after Sino Ang Maysala? Mea Culpa, who will once again serve as her on-screen partner.

Joining them are veteran thespians Agot Isidro, Janice De Belen, Daisy Cariño, Ian Galliguez, Michael De Mesa, Christian Vasquez, and Pen Medina, and young stars Michelle Vito, Ryle Santiago, and Mica Javier.

Dashing up-and-coming actors Paul Montecillo, Raven Molina, and Eian Rances are going to be part of it, too.

Pinoy Big Brother Otso alumni Hasna Cabral, Argel Saycon, Wealand Ferrer, and Emjay Savilla are about to exhibit their acting chops in this series as well.

Ang Lihim ni Ligaya will be produced by the Deo T. Endrinal-led production unit Dreamscape Entertainment and will be helmed by top-caliber directors Onat Diaz and Carlo Enciso Catu.

Apart from further knowing the concept and the characters they’re going to portray, each cast member also enthusiastically expressed how they feel on being part of this project.
