We may be in the midst of terrible circumstances at present, but there’s definitely no stopping ABS-CBN from delighting its avid viewers with its annual Christmas station ID tradition that showcases the colorful culture and customs and admirable qualities of Filipinos through the lyrically touching and LSS-inducing hymn accompanying an awe-inspiring music video.

Just when we thought that it’s already impossible for the network to release a Christmas Station ID this year, many were indeed thrilled upon hearing the news that ABS-CBN will produce one, as a way of keeping us company as we face a “new normal” Yuletide season filled with hope and inspiration.

In fact, the ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management has already come up with a theme for the 2020 Christmas Station ID titled “Ikaw Ang Liwanag At Ligaya” and some of the Kapamilya stars have recently attended the shoot.

Among the artists present were It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda ASAP Natin ‘To mainstays Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Enchong Dee; Pinoy Big Brother hosts Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzalez, and Robi Domingo; Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo; and Iba ‘Yan host Angel Locsin.

Heartthrob Joshua Garcia was also there, alongside top loveteams Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and James Reid and Nadine Lustre, and new Darna Jane De Leon.

Of course, the three highly respected, valiant bosses of the network Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory V. Vidanes, Chief Executive Officer Carlo L. Katigbak and Chairman Mark L. Lopez

Since we’re still in the midst of a pandemic, everyone made sure to adhere to the safety protocols implemented by the government by wearing face shields and observing physical distancing.
