The Philippines' is known to have festivals for every saint, weather and season, cityhood or foundation, and the list goes on. The month of May, particularly, is one of the country's most colorful festivals as it celebrates our devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary for an entire month. On the last day of the festivity is the Santacruzan, a pageant and procession held in commemoration of the journey of Helena of Constantinople (Reyna Elena) and Constantine the Great to find the Holy Cross. Many cities, towns, and small communities hold their own version of the Santacruzan and assign their community members to the various personifications, characters, and titles of the Virgin Mary.

Even the celebrities can very well be part of a Santacruzan and here are the eight beautiful stars that could be the Reyna Elena in the procession.
