If you think that ABS-CBN Ball 2018 and the Christmas station ID shoot are the most star-studded occasions of the biggest network in the country, then you possibly have forgotten about the Christmas trade event done annually to introduce the new slate of new movies and television and digital shows to its business partners.
Apart from the presentation of the upcoming offerings for the first quarter of 2019, this also served as another get-together among the Kapamilya artists who, aside from merely gracing the show dubbed “Family is Love” to promote their respective projects, entertained the attendees last November 27 with spectacular production numbers.
It was not only on-stage where the camaraderie among them could be seen, but behind-the-scenes as well, as we see them mingling and goofing around, posing willingly to the camera for photo ops, and chatting with the bosses, their friends and colleagues while the program was not starting yet on the video montage above.
Those who were going to perform or appear on the stage came up in their glamorous and dapper outfits, with the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano radiating a cheerful mood in their Christmas-themed costumes. Meanwhile, the other celebrities proudly donned their Family is Love shirts as a part of their simple yet stylish ensembles that evening.
In article published on ABS-CBN News, it was revealed that a total of 21 projects were teased and announced, which included reality and variety shows, teleseryes, movies, and digital productions.
The superbly exciting game show Minute To Win It: The Last Man Standing will be returning with Luis Manzano as still the host. At the same time, he’s going to join Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach in hosting the local edition of World Of Dance Philippines, in which Maja Salvador, Billy Crawford, and Gary Valenciano will be the jurors. Meanwhile, Kapamilya returnee Regine Velasquez-Alscasid will be sitting as one of the panel of judges for the upcoming singing competition Search for the Idol Philippines.
Of course, new TV series will be rolled out that are going to certainly keep you glued on your small screens, such as The General’s Daughter, Nang Ngumiti ang Langit, and Mea Culpa.
Without a doubt, 2019 is going to be an exciting year for us, Kapamilyas!
