Claudine Barretto in Saan Ka Man Naroroon (1999-2001)
Claudine played Rosario, Rosenda, and Rosemarie/Rosita, triplets who got separated at birth. They grew up with very contrast personalities and different looks. Rosario was the kind and loving one and she had long hair, Rosenda was the mean and rebellious one and she had short hair, while Rosemarie/Rosita was the liberated one and she had layered hair.
Lorna Tolentino in Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay (2002-2003)
Lorna portrayed twins sisters, Lorrea and Lorrinda Guinto, who were separated due to a series of unfortunate events in “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay.” When they met again, Lorrinda was already known as Ingrid Medrano or the druglord Red Butterfly. Unfortunately, she was killed and Lorrea had to pretend as her deceased twin sister.
Heart Evangelista in Sineserye Presents Hiram na Mukha (2007)
Heart was cast as Carissa and Alicia, two characters who were not related to each other, in the remake of the 1992 movie. Carissa was an ugly woman who had monkey-like features while Alicia was an elegant beautiful model. After Alicia died in an airplane crash, Carissa met Alicia’s husband, Dr. Hugo (TJ Trinidad). She agreed to be the subject of his test, a surgery that can copy another person's face, and she became Alicia.
Andi Eigenmann in Agua Bendita (2010)
Andi was chosen to play twin sisters, Agua and Bendita, in the television adaptation of the 1980s comics. The two had very opposite personalities. Bendita had features of a normal human being she grew up spoiled and mean. Agua, on the other hand, was kind and loving but her body was in water form. She only became human-like when she was in water.
Maja Salvador in Precious Hearts Romances: Impostor (2010)
Maja had to play Mariz and Devin, two different women with the same face in the television adaptation of the book. When Devin (Melai Cantiveros) and Mariz got involved in the same car accident, Devin survived and was implanted with Mariz’s face. However, Mariz eventually reappeared after it was believed that she was already dead. The two first encountered each other when Devin was about to marry Anthony (Sam Milby).
Coco Martin in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin (2011)
Coco played twin brothers, Alexander and Javier, who got separated at birth and didn’t grow up together. The two grew up in completely different households and they had very different beliefs and ways of living. Alexander was born to a wealthy family and grew up and became a soldier while Javier was born to an impoverished family who were rebels.
Angelica Panganiban in Apoy Sa Dagat (2013)
Angelica had to portray twin sisters, Serena and Rebecca, who were separated while they were still young in a ship accident. Rebecca grew up with her grandmother while Serena grew up by the seaside with no memory of who she was. Eventually, the two accidentally met each other but their reunion was cut short when Rebecca fell under a bridge and was believed to be dead. Serena then had to take the place of Rebecca and pretend as her twin sister.
Coco Martin in Juan dela Cruz (2013)
Coco played Juan and Anak ng Dilim in the action-fantasy-drama series. Juan was half-tagabantay and half-aswang. He was trained to become the next Tagabantay and serve as a hero to protect the people from aswangs. Anak ng Dilim, on the other hand, was Juan’s alter ego and the strongest aswang according to the prophecy. He controlled Juan whenever he was angry. After a fierce battle, Juan permanently killed and destroyed his other self.
Bea Alonzo in Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon (2014)
Bea portrayed Rose and Emmanuelle, two characters who were not related to each other. Rose was loving, intelligent, shy but not so beautiful while Emmanuelle was feisty and confident. In an unfortunate event, Emmanuelle was killed and Rose's face got burned. Emmanuelle's mother, Ruth (Susan Roces), asked Rose to pretend to be Emmanuelle and used her for revenge.
Julia Montes in Doble Kara (2015-2017)
In Doble Kara, Julia was chosen to play twin sisters, Kara and Sara, who grew up in two different worlds. Kara was the kind and loving daughter with long hair while Sara was the mean and rebellious daughter with short pixie cut hair. Kara was adopted by Lucille (Carmina Villaroel) while Sara grew up with their biological mother, Laura (Mylene Dizon). When they were reunited, they became bitter rivals that always had intense arguments and confrontations.
Coco Martin in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (2015-present)
Coco portrayed twin brothers, Ador and Cardo, in this television remake of Fernando Poe Jr.'s classic action film. In FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, the two characters were separated at birth and didn’t know about each other. When Ador was killed in one of his missions, Delfin (Jaime Fabregas) looked for Cardo to take the place of Ador and pretend as his twin brother.
Jodi Sta Maria in Sana Dalawa Ang Puso (2018-present)
Jodi currently stars as Lisa and Mona, two different women with identical faces, in the daytime romantic-comedy series Sana Dalawa Ang Puso. Both of them are facing big ordeals in their lives. Lisa is a beautiful woman and the hardworking boss of her family’s business who’s arranged to marry Martin (Richard Yap). On the other hand, Mona is a boyish bet collector in cockfights who is trying to save her father from danger after getting involved in a networking scam.
