Pinoy Big Brother does not only serve as a launching pad for the careers of some of our favorite local artists now, but also led housemates to find their soulmates, with whom they’d spend the rest of their lives.
Many loveteams and couples were borne throughout the entire franchise. However, only a few of these tandems were able to withstand the test of time and pressure of the industry and stayed together. Meanwhile, others opted to go back to their previous modest lives or take on different paths.
We might have felt dismayed when these pairs we used to ship stopped sailing, but seeing how happy and contented they are in their current lives with their partners or spouses definitely charge up our spirits.
With the complexities and grueling demands of show business, it’s delightful to find out that there are housemates who are still able to find their one true love in this very exciting world, such as Melai Cantiveros (to Jason Francisco), Paul Jake Castillo (to Kaye Abad), James Reid (to Nadine Lustre), Mikee Agustin (to Yexel Sebastian), Megan Young (to Mikael Daez), and John Prats (to Isabel Oli).
Although their partners aren’t entertainers like them, Sam Pinto (to footballer Misagh Bahadoran), Slater Young (to author-blogger Kryz Uy), Bianca Gonzalez (to basketball player JC Intal), and Niña Jose (to Bayambang Mayor Cezar Quiambao) are very much in love to personalities who are respected and well-known in their respected fields.
On the other hand, some of the ex-housemates found lifetime bliss and love in their non-showbiz flames and are now enjoying simple lives away from the limelight, like Say Alonzo (to Ryan Tordesillas), Bea Saw (to Rocky Tan), Wendy Valdez (to Normann Garcia), Jess Connelly (to Michael Concepcion), RJ Padilla (to Rosalie Abdelsayed), Matt Evans (to Katrina Farinas), Beauty Gonzalez (to Norman Crisologo), Valerie Weigmann (Bodie Fullido), Michele Gumabao to (Aldo Panlilio), Hideo Muraoka (to Fatima Rabago), Ejay Falcon (to Jana Roxas), and Cora Waddell (to Terrence Lloyd).
Whoever their partners are right now, we’re one of those who hope that the current relationships of our favorite housemates would not just last for a season, but for a lifetime.
