This 2017, Kim Chiu returns to television as Bianca in the upcoming series “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin”. She is reunited with her first love team partner Gerald Anderson in the newest offering of the Kapamilya network. The show will also star Jake Cuenca, Coleen Garcia, Gina Pareño, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Bing Loyzaga, Michael de Mesa, Dante Rivero and Helen Gamboa, and is directed by Dan Villegas. 1. Sana Maulit Muli (2007)
In 2007, Kim played the role of Jasmin “Poknat” Sta. Maria in her first ever primetime series, “Sana Maulit Muli.” Jasmin was a young woman who was given a second chance to reunite with her first love, Travis “Bokbok” Johnson (Gerald Anderson), after her untimely death. The series also starred Jake Cuenca, Erich Gonzales, Gloria Diaz, Mickey Ferriols, Glydel Mercado, and Michael de Mesa. It was directed by Jerome Pobocan and Claudio “Tots” Sanchez-Mariscal IV.
2. My Girl (2008)
In 2008, she portrayed Jasmine Estocapio in the Filipino adaptation of the South Korean romantic-comedy series “My Girl.” Jasmine was a street-smart and optimistic Cebuana who pretended to be someone else for the sake of Julian (Gerald Anderson) but she eventually fell in love with him. The series also starred Enchong Dee, Niña Jose, Alex Gonzaga, Bing Loyzaga and Ronaldo Valdez. It was directed by Erick Salud and Jerome Pobocan.
3. Tayong Dalawa (2009)
In 2009, she played the role of Audrey King in the primetime action-drama series “Tayong Dalawa.” Audrey was a young woman torn between the love of two brothers who shared the same name, David “JR” Garcia Jr. (Gerald Anderson) and David “Dave” Garcia Jr. (Jake Cuenca). 4. Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo (2010)
In 2010, she portrayed Gwen Marie Sebastian in the primetime action-drama series “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.” Gwen was the rebellious daughter of Celine (Kris Aquino) who eventually fell in love with Robbie (Gerald Anderson). In 2011, she played the role of Jadelyn “Jade” Dimaguiba in the primetime romantic-comedy series “My Binondo Girl.” Jade was a young girl who pretended to be a man named Yuan Sy to gain the love and affection of her father, Chen Sy (Richard Yap). She received help from the three men in her life, Onyx (Jolo Revilla), Trevor (Matteo Guidicelli) and Andy (Xian Lim). 6. Ina, Kapatid, Anak (2012-2013)
In 2012, she portrayed Celyn Buenaventura in the primetime drama series “Ina, Kapatid, Anak.” Celyn was the ambitious daughter of Theresa (Cherry Pie Picache), a surrogate hired by Julio (Ariel Rivera) and Beatrice (Janice de Belen). She eventually became the archrival of Margaux (Maja Salvador). The series also starred Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Ronaldo Valdez, Pilar Pilapil and Eddie Gutierrez. In 2014, she played the role of Isabelle Miravelez in the Book 1 of the primetime drama series “Ikaw Lamang.” Isabelle was a young woman who decided to marry Franco (Jake Cuenca) for the safety of her one great love, Samuel (Coco Martin). In the Book 2 of the teleserye, she also played the role of Andrea Hidalgo, the biological daughter of Isabelle. In 2016, she portrayed Cristine "Tin" Manalo in the primetime drama series “The Story of Us.” Tin was the childhood bestfriend turned lover of Macoy (Xian Lim) who went to New York City to meet her estranged mother, Myra (Zsa Zsa Padilla). The series also starred Princess Punzalan, John Arcilla, Kira Balinger, Bryan Santos, Shaina Magdayao and Aiko Melendez. It was directed by Richard Somes, Will Fredo and Cathy Garcia-Molina.
