From being a supporting character in the John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo starrer in It Might Be You, Maja has top-billed numerous television series through the years, making her a permanent fixture in the Christmas station IDs since 2009.
She’s not popular to local audiences only, but to the Filipino communities abroad as well, thus she was seen singing with Yeng Constantino and a bunch of Overseas Filipino Workers in California, USA in the “Magkasama Tayo sa Kwento ng Pasko”.
With the theme “Thank You ang Babait Ninyo”, the Dance Princess was one of the Kapamilyas who expressed their gratitude to the special people in their lives. She thanked her three aunts – Mama Yolly, Mama Naty, and Mama Rose – who took care of her and showered her with love while her mother had to work abroad.
In 2015, she went grocery shopping for the gift packs that her FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano would give to the soldiers of Project Shoe Box assigned in Tanay, Rizal. While in 2016, she gave special medallions to the members of Tondo Chamber Orchestra for being inspirations to the youth in pursuing their dreams amidst the adversities.
And this year, the Wildflower lead actress and her co-stars in the said primetime series took a break from quarrelling and spread love during their scene in the “Just Love Ngayong Christmas” music video.
