The ABS-CBN Ball 2019 is finally here!
We know how excited everyone is to see our Kapamilya stars strut on the red carpet in their fabulous frocks and stylish suits that truly showed their awesome takes on the modern Filipiniana theme for this year.
At the same time, we're also aware how equally-excited everybody is to witness their beloved on-screen (with some who are also official off-screen!) pairs grace the event together as they show their oneness to bring forward their advocacy for education.
Take a look at the photos in this gallery to witness how sparks fly and hearts flutter as these love teams spread kilig on the red carpet!
LoiNie
The General's Daughter stars and real-life sweethearts Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte indeed thrilled everyone as they walked down the red carpet hand-in-hand. She was wearing a textured maroon Filipiniana terno that exposed more of her skin, while he was in an all-black modernistic ensemble.
LouDre
It's really a delight to always see Pinoy Big Brother Otso's controversial sweethearts Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette, more so when we witness them attend their first-ever ABS-CBN Ball. The colors of their outfits might be contrasting, with Lou cladded in a classy peekaboo attire while Andre in complete black, LouDre were still able to complement one another.
MayWard
The opening salvo of this year's shindig, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber indeed did great in commencing the red carpet parade as they stole the show in their matching looks. Dressed in a heavily gold-encrusted body-hugging gown, which resembles the interior of the Manila Cathedral, and a ring of roses as headpiece, she definitely turned the red carpet as her runway as she gracefully strut with her beloved "Dodong" by her side. He looked like a fine young general in his tan ensemble with gold applique sewn across his shoulders.
MarNigo
Just when we thought that we're not going to see our beloved "Papapeh" and "Mamameh" together since their recent highly talked about media interviews, we were all surprised to see them as each other's arm candy in the Ball. Both of them were in unconventional attires, with Maris in an orange high-slit, asymmetric dress and the birthday boy Iñigo in an eccentric combo of maroon suit and barong.
KyCine
Staying true to her sweet and dainty personality as Cassie of Kadenang Ginto, Francine Diaz was truly a sweetheart in her pink ball gown with fully-beaded top. Meanwhile, her loveteam partner Kyle Echarri really looked like a young gentleman in his ensemble.
SethDrea
The newly-established loveteam showcased their playfulness in their unconventional Filipiniana attires. Seth Fedelin resembled a young matadero in his oddly cut barong while Andrea Brillantes was a modern day "dalagang Filipina" in her disproportionate red orange sweetheart ball gown.
KathNiel
The formidable tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla never failed to capture our attentions each year with their captivating appearances on the red carpet. The Queen Of Hearts opted for a sparkling fuchsia terno which she topped with a full bangs, while her beloved King swooned us with his dashing look in a matching suit and trousers that he accentuated with a white lace necktie and a pair of round tinted spectacles.
KierVi
This up-and-rising loveteam's interpretation of the modern Filipiniana theme will probably be talked about in the coming days because of how awesomely avant garde their outfits are. Hashtag CK was wearing an asymmetrical black suit while Vivoree was flaming in her red dress.
MarJo
Another unexpected pair to grace the red carpet together was the perpetual well-loved team-up of Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal, who were one of the awardees of the "Love Team ng Sentenaryo" during the recent Sine Sandaan shindig of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). The Magandang Buhay host was wearing a traditional fuchsia Filipiniana and a fancy headdress while her "labtim" was in a classic Barong Tagalog.
LizQuen
After taking a rest from show business for quite a long time as Liza underwent a finger surgery in the United States, their tandem indeed made a notable comeback through their appearance on the ball. Enrique was dashing in his all-black outfit while his gorgeous lady went edgy in her decollete, heavily-embellished frock.
JaDine
From their awesomely eccentric looks last year, this well-loved couple opted for a relatively simpler attires this time, without compromising their swag. Nadine Lustre was absolutely ravishing in her glimmering, high-slit red sweetheart terno, while James Reid finished his all-white ensemble with a pair of chunky rubber shoes.
KimXi
Before we see them again on-screen through the much-awaited teleserye Love Thy Woman, the loveteam-turned-lovers teased us with their undying chemistry as they walked the red carpet together. Kim Chiu was an epitome of sophistication in her voluminous white mermaid Filipiniana gown, which was perfectly complemented by her beau Xian Lim who was wearing a customized barong.
