After taking a break from doing teleseryes and starring in the blockbuster hit "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes," the Queen of Pinoy Soap Operas Judy Ann Santos is set to make a comeback through the Dreamscape-produced series entitled Starla.
On June 26, her certified fan page officialjudayph posted a clip of her first taping day on Instagram, where she is seen cladded in different posh office attires, rocking a pixie cut, and fierce-looking makeup, making us conclude that she could be a nonchalant and fierce company executive.
But her sternness turns to bubbliness as she animatedly mingled with the staff and crew and gamely showed her wackiness on the camera.
Besides, the 40-year-old actress excitedly shared to her followers as well a few photos marking the start of their first taping day, which includes a snap of the sequence guide and a selfie bearing the caption, “Hey teresa! #starla haircut by “the” @jingmonis styled by @jeffreyaromin makeup by @randygabinmakeup”.
The series is helmed by director Onat Diaz, who was also behind the top-rating shows Asintado and Wildflower, and is written by Dindo Perez, who is one of the brains behind the well-loved series On the Wings of Love, Nathaniel, May Bukas Pa, among others.
Not much details have been divulged yet regarding the upcoming series, but according to the photos uploaded by the aforementioned production unit headed by Mr. Deo Endrinal, Juday will be joined by top-caliber thespians Michael de Mesa, Joel Torre, Gabe Mercado, Simon Ibarra, Bodjie Pascua, Joel Saracho, Kathleen
Hermosa, Meryll Soriano, and Anna Luna. Child stars Enzo Pelojero and Alex Baena earned a spot in the cast roster as well.
