In an exclusive interview with the child star, Xyriel Manabat expressed her delight of becoming part of the teleserye “Juan Dela Cruz.” “Masaya po kasi number 1 po ‘to sa Primetime at makakasama ko po ang mga bigating artista, gaya po nila sir Albert (Martinez) at kuya Coco (Martin),” she admitted.

Further, she also shared to have worked with Juan Dela Cruz during her teleserye, “100 Days,” where Coco played the young taga-bantay ng langit. She also mentioned her Wansapanataym project with Susan Africa before, who is also a guest on the show. She said that she is happy to work with them again as this will give them the time and opportunity to bond more and get to know each other better.

Being a fantasy program, Xyriel revealed that she wants to do something different from her usual roles this time, “Gusto ko po iyong action na role, action scenes kasi hindi pa po ako nakakagawa ng ganoong teleserye.” She also added that if given the chance, she is also willing to do an aswang role where she would engage into an action-packed fighting scene with Juan.      

Lastly, she invites everyone to watch her on show and find out what her role is in Juan’s life.
