On “The Voice of the Philippines,” Aia de Leon, the famed vocalist of band Imago recounted how she left her band so she can better her craft. She then joined The Voice of the Philippines so she can begin this new journey. Unfortunately, she did not make it to any of the teams to the regret of the coaches.
Onto the successful picks, Coach Bamboo zones in on another beautiful addition to
his team. Denise Sagun, a 34-year-old art teacher from Subic, did a cover of Jewel’s “You Were Meant For Me” and became the 12th member of Team Kawayan.
Bamboo couldn’t help but pick a 13th member for his team when he heard Dan Billano, a 30-year-old nursing student-turned-rocker. Coach Bamboo told Dan he liked the tone of his voice and he can help him improve on some areas. For Dan, having Bamboo as his coach is a dream come true.
Meanwhile, Team Lea also picked it’s 13th member when Lea heard Kimpoy Mainit
from Bohol. The 16-year-old sang Jessie J’s “Nobody’s Perfect.” She said that Kimpoy’s voice quality is unique as he is able to perform songs sung by women without any effort.
Team Apl, also completed its roster of talented singers with 16-year-old Jessica Reynoso from Laguna. She not only awed the judges with her stunning looks, she also wowed them with the “soulful” quality in her voice. She sang Alicia Keys’ “Fallin.”
The episode ends with Coach Sarah Geronimo only having 11 members in her team. Who will complete Team Sarah?
