Superbook returns to Philippine TV
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) Asia has signed contracts with ABS-CBN to officially air the animated Bible series, Superbook last Tuesday, July 8.

Present in the contract signing were ABS-CBN Broadcast Head Cory Vidanes and CBN Asia President Peter M. Kairuz, among other executives of the two networks. Superbook’s mascot, Gizmo also attended the said affair.

According to Ma. Katherine Inocencio, Vice-President for Production and Programming of CBN Asia, they feel blessed for the support that ABS-CBN gives Superbook.

Meanwhile, Icko Gonzalez, Project Head for Superbook and Special Projects Manager for CBN Asia, shared that Superbook will host mall shows and school tours, tagging along Gizmo. He also said that they have an online club, Batang Superbook where parents can register their kids as well as Facebook and Instagram accounts where they will post announcements and updates.

Katherine and Icko also said that this will be an interactive show as a website linked to ABS-CBN is on its way and will feature storybook discussion guides for parents and their children. Further, they said that though the show is dubbed in Filipino, Superbook DVDs in English will soon be available in ABS-CBN Store, among others.
