Sarah regrets making Eva Delos Reyes and Michaellen Temporada battle each other on “The Voice”

It was another heated Saturday evening on “The Voice” and Coach Lea Salonga makes it fiery performing an acoustic version of Bruno Mars’ “Grenade.”

The battle rounds soon begin with Bamboo’s team members, Isabella Fabregas and Angelica Prado clashing as they sing No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak.” Bamboo chooses the more sultry Issa in the end and bids good-bye to Angelica.

Next, the battle was on between Lance Fabros and Janice Javier when Coach Apl chooses Journey’s song, “Don’t Stop Believing” to be their battle piece. Eventually, Coach Apl picks Janice Javier, who is also the preference of Coach Lea, Coach Bamboo and Apl’s guest adviser, Arnel Pineda, to step onto the next round.

On Team Lea, the round goes to Darryl Shy as he wins over acoustic singer MJ Podolig in their performance of “Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka,” a song popularized by Regine Velasquez.

Lastly, Coach Sarah has a hard time choosing between Eva Delos Reyes and Michaellen Temporada that it took her quite a long time before announcing her decision. She picks Eva, explaining she has more heart and soul performing the Michael Jackson song “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You.”

Find out who else will advance to the next round on “The Voice of the Philippines,” Saturdays at 9PM and Sundays at 8:15PM on ABS-CBN.
