Marian Rivera reveals on Kris TV that she worked in a mental institution before

Still with “Kung Fu Divas” stars, Ai Ai Delas Alas and Marian Rivera, Kris Aquino continued their food trip adventure around the metro today on “KrisTV.”

First off, they went to Sweet Spot Cafe in Sikatuna, Quezon City where they were welcomed by shop owners, Chef Rochelle and Eric Calderon and were served with their specialty dishes such as South Western Chicken Penne Pasta, Kung Pao, Pulled Pork Adobo Sandwich, Puttanesca Sardines, Banana Nutella, Green Tea Kiwi, Truffle Cream of Mushroom Soup, Panna Cota with Jell-O, House Blend Iced Tea and Pumpkin Soup, among others. Later, Chef Rochelle demonstrated how to cook Asahi Fish and Wasabi Chips. 

After such, they went to Cool Beans Café in UP Village where owners, Lot Deleste and Scott Lleva introduced them to their concept of establishing a library-café. Thus, one can enjoy their specialty highland coffee and borrow reading materials at the same time.

While at Cool Beans, Kris took this opportunity to ask Marian about her previous work experiences before becoming a celebrity. With this, Marian shared that after graduating college, she worked in a mental hospital in Mandaluyong where she gave out medicines, examinations and evaluation to patients, among others. She also tried becoming a SPED teacher before she was discovered for showbiz. 

Marian also revealed her point of view when it comes to love saying, “Naniniwala kasi ako sa kasabihan na kapag mahal mo ang isang tao, dapat binibigay mo one hundred percent kasi hindi mo mararamdaman ang tunay na pagmamahal kung ‘di mo mararamdaman ang one hundred percent,” so that at the end of the day, there will be no regrets in your part, she further added. She also shared that she likes giving gifts, “Dun sa gift na ‘yun mapapasaya kita, maliit man o malaki, ang akin naalala kita.” With this, she revealed that her boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes took her to Bali for her birthday while she gave him a watch on his.  

Kung Fu Divas” premieres on October 1 while its regular showing starts on October 2.
