Still at the Diamond Hotel in today’s “KrisTV” episode, Kris and Melai are joined by one of the hottest love teams on Philippine TV, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Their first stop was to see a demonstration of how to cook fresh tomato papardelle pasta. With this, Kris took the opportunity to ask Kathryn about her college life. Kathryn shared that instead of getting a Fashion Marketing certificate course, she opted to take a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, major in Marketing at Enderun. She also revealed that it is during Saturdays that she gets a full load of classes from 8AM to 5PM while her Tuesdays give way for PE class from 7 to 9 in the morning, only then can she leave for tapings. Kathryn also shared her aspiration of learning how to cook, and that aside from lasagna, she also cooked corned beef fried rice for Daniel.
Their next stop was the Japanese restaurant, Yurakuen where they indulged in assorted sushi, sashimi and shrimp tempura. Later in the show, Daniel was surprised to see his mother, Karla Estrada join them in their chitchats. Kris asked Karla if Daniel has changed now that he’s gotten successful and Karla replied, “Mas naging responsible ngayon… ‘Yung hindi maganda, yung naging best in puyat… Hindi siya makatulog kasi feeling niya kahit nasa bahay siya, nagtataping pa rin siya.” Daniel defended himself by saying that in this industry that they’re working in, one will eventually get used to sleeping late. Karla’s love life was also brought up during the conversation and Kris asked Daniel if he can accept if ever her mother will have a relationship, “Yeah, normal naman eh,” was his considerate reply.
Before the episode ends, Kris asked Kathryn if there are guys who have crushes on her now that her world widens because of school. “Sa school naman, parang hindi rin naman ako masaydong pinapansin,” says Kathryn. Daniel quickly adds, “Ako kaya kasama mo, hindi ka talaga papansinin.”
