ABS-CBN is the most awarded TV network in 27th Star Awards for TV

ABS-CBN is again the most awarded TV network at the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Television held Sunday night (Nov 24), bagging 30 awards across 56 categories, including the Best TV station for the fifth consecutive year.

Kapamilya stars Coco Martin and Kim Chiu were given special awards and were recognized as the Male and Female Faces of the Night.

Every year, ABS-CBN dominates the pack of winners at the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television. In fact, the country’s longest running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and TV host Boy Abunda were already inducted to the Star Awards Hall of Fame in 2011 for winning the Best Drama Anthology and Best Male Celebrity-Oriented Show Host awards, respectively, for 15 times.

The PMPC Star Awards for TV is an annual award giving body recognizing outstanding celebrities and programming produced by several TV networks.
