A behind-the-scenes video of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s viral pictorial for their upcoming comeback project, the rom-com series 2 Good 2 Be True, shows the couple donning respective outfits that befit their characters in the series.

 

 

Producers RGE Drama released this video that showed Kathryn and Daniel donning a number of outfits, such as Kathryn wearing a nurse/medical practitioner’s uniform, while Daniel donning everyday street wear. In other frames, we see them in formal attire, while in other sets in casual garments.

 

 

No further details have been given on the actual plot or their characters, but has been revealed as their first light romantic-comedy stint on TV since Got To Believe in 2013. Following a story conference, Daniel said that the series is a gift to loyal KathNiel fans clamoring for their rom-com comeback.

 

 

The series, their first since La Luna Sangre in 2017, marks their tenth year as a celebrated love team. It took the couple and their handlers a long while to decide the story they would depict in their comeback series, and they gleefully announced that 2G2BT (2 Good 2 Be True) was it.

Kathryn noted that 2 Good 2 Be True is “something light” allowing “a break and breather” for viewers from the difficulties they are facing.

Acclaimed director Mae Cruz-Alviar will helm the series, which will also star Ronaldo Valdez, Gloria Diaz, and Irma Adlawan, together with Gelli de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Cris Villanueva, and Smokey Manaloto. Other cast members include Matt Evans, Jenny Miller, Yves Flores, Pamu Pamorada, Gillian Vicencio, Kristel Fulgar, Bianca de Vera, and Alyssa Muhlach.
