Kapamilya stars Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza aka KarJon are more than just ‘kilig’ and good looks – they’ve got wit, humor, and a whole lot more! They’re so witty even the Wrecking Bowl Challenge is no sweat to them. Check out the love team’s answers to some of the most hilarious questions on the planet.
Known for her talent in extemporaneous speech, Karina had more fun than jitters facing the outrageous questions, beginning with, “Anong ginagawa mo kapag wala kang ginawa?” Basic! “Humihinga. Sapat na ‘yon,” she answered.
Next, “Bakit ‘yung plate number may letters?” She doesn’t know, either, that’s why she’d rather not buy her own car so as not to complicate things.
And why are guards unguarded? “Kasi ‘atapang silang tao, eh. Hindi na nila kailangan ‘yan.” Picking another item, Karina got “’Yung pantalon ba pwede rin ipanlakad?” to which she answered, “Hindi, dapat talon-talon ka lang.”
Who would have thought the über -terrific wrecking bowl can bring out deep, soul piercing ‘hugots?’ Asked how smart a wisdom tooth is, Karina replied, “Hindi nga sila masyadong matalino, eh kasi kapag hindi na sila kailangan, saka sila dumadating at saka masakit pa sila. Nananakit sila ng mga damdamin ng tao.” Char!
And why is a building still called ‘building’ after it’s been built? The clever Karina related it to emotional attachment, “Kasi na-in love sila sa proseso kaya talagang doon na sila nag-stick. Building pa rin siya kasi dapat ‘yung mga nakakasama natin sa journey natin, hindi natin iniiwan.” Boom.
Can we eat dinner from a lunch box? The young star believes nothing is impossible for us Pinoys – especially when it comes to food. “Pwede naman kasi ‘yung box lang ‘yung pang-lunch pero pwede mong dayain, lagyan mo ng dinner kasi mahilig tayong mga Pinoy diyan, eh.”

Kuya’s ‘Shy Charmer’ was confident to answer the first question “Pwede bang magsalita sa hearing?” He said, “Oo, siyempre! Kaya nga hearing kasi papakinggan ka nila so magsalita ka lang, ipaglaban mo” Makes sense, ‘no?
Okay, next! Asked if AM radios can be used in the evening, he thought it depends on your “trip.” “’Yung pantalon ba pwedeng ipanlakad?” Aljon said you can bounce all you want while wearing “pantalon” to bespeak its name.
“Ang paksiw na bangus ba kapag napanis maasim?” Based on Aljon’s experience, yes, it is “maasim” and more, “Automatic na maasim siya pero siguro inaamag na panis yung lasa.”
“Ang damit na pang-araw-araw ba pwedeng suotin sa gabi?” Aljon thinks so. But for the sake of clarity, you could just buy more clothes and call them “gabi-gabi” or better yet “araw-gabi.”
“Kapag ba nagnakaw ka ng pabango, ikaw ba ay maco-cologne?” Aljon laughed, rubbed his nape, and looked so cute trying to find the right answer.
