Turning a year older, Ion Perez painted the town red in a special birthday party attended by his friends, partner Vice Ganda, and their respective family members.

Aside from that intimate dinner, Ion also celebrated his 33rd birthday by spreading kindness to children from his grade school alma mater in Concepcion, Tarlac.

Watch the video and be warmed by his genuine act of sharing!

In a recent vlog uploaded on his YouTube channel, we see Ion and his team setting up a feeding program and party for the students of Alfonso Elementary School. Apart from the food, they also prepared toys, prizes for the games, and a mascot appearance.

The “It’s Showtime” host and former Mr. Universe Tourism titleholder mentioned that it has been his yearly tradition to organize feeding programs for children on his birthday. Last year, they were in Bulacan. This year, they set up the program in Alfonso Elementary School’s activity area, hence the event doubles as a homecoming for him.

Ion is seen talking to the kids in their local dialect and interacting with the school’s teachers and staff members. He granted photo ops as well. He then thanked the people who helped him organize the event, especially the staff of their partner fast-food chain.

“Sobrang sarap sa puso na makita ‘yung mga bata na ganyan sila kasaya,” said Ion, who couldn’t care less about the hot weather on that day so long as he’s able to bring smiles to the children’s faces.

Happy Birthday, Ion!
