Here’s your first look at the cast of “Flower of Evil” Philippine adaptation led by Lovi and Piolo

The cast of the upcoming Philippine adaptation of hit Korean drama “Flower of Evil” has been revealed and everyone’s star power and chemistry travel through our screens!

Last Monday, November 22, producer Dreamscape Entertainment shared snippets from their red carpet story conference. Joining lead stars Lovi Poe and Piolo Pascual in the powerhouse cast are Pinky Amador, Jett Pangan, Rita Avila, Robert Seña, Epy Quizon, Agot Isidro, Kit Thompson, and Denise Laurel, as well as Joross Gamboa and Edu Manzano, both present via Zoom.

Keeping it short but sweet, Lovi expressed thrill over her first assignment as a bonafide Kapamilya, “I’m so excited to work with everyone here. This is my first-ever K-drama adaptation and it’s one of my favorites,” she said.

Previously, Lovi also teased her Instagram followers with a snap with the Ultimate Heartthrob and snippets from their look test.

The team behind “Flower of Evil” Pinoy version is yet to unravel more details about the adaptation such as who plays who and how faithful they’d be to the original story. But the look test pretty much gave us clues.

Lovi and Piolo served major ‘kilig’ vibes in their look test as they channel Baek Hee-sung and Cha Ji-won, the lead characters in the original series.

“Flower of Evil” is a thriller, action-packed tale about a seemingly perfect couple Baek Hee-sung (Lee Joon-gi) and Cha Ji-won (Moon Chae-won). Unbeknownst to the wife who is a detective, her husband hides behind a stolen identity to conceal a scandalous past until she starts to uncover his secrets, hence, the series of mystery and questions will test the couple’s love.

Watch out for the Philippine adaptation of “Flower of Evil” soon on Kapamilya channels.
