From Daddy's Girl to the Megastar: Sharon Cuneta Celebrates 50th Birthday - Part 4

The young Sharon first appeared on TV through an Ike Lozada show. She performed songs of her Aunt Helen in the "Bulilit" segment.

Her first TV show in ABS-CBN as a host was The Sharon Cuneta Show, a Sunday night musical variety show which had a two-year run in another network before moving to the Kapamilya slate.  It ran until June 15, 1997 and was awarded as Best Musical Variety Show by the PMPC Star Awards for Television in 1993. After a year of living in Boston, ABS-CBN produced a Sunday night musical talk show titled "Sharon" for the TV comeback of Sharon in 1998. When it ended in 2010, the Megastar focused on the talent show "Star Power: Sharon's Search for the Next Female Superstar." She then hosted the first season of the Philippine franchise of the popular US reality show, The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition in 2011. Sharon left ABS-CBN after the season but immediately came back in 2015. Her first stint during her comeback was as one of the judges for the reality singing and impersonation contest "Your Face Sounds Familiar."
