3) Fans Get the Obsessive Jadine Syndrome
"On The Wings of Love," a light romantic-comedy series revered for its kakakilig scenes, has been trending nationwide since its pilot episode. It follows the lives of two different people: Leah (Nadine Lustre), a simple girl with an American dream, and Clark (James Reid), a boy living his American life. To legalize her stay, Leah married Clark for a green card--at least, that was the plan. Eventually, the fake kisses became real ones
and the exchange of sweet nothings turned out to be one for the books.
As OTWOListas all over the world await the wedding of Leah and Clark, they can't help but be affected by what they call the "Obsessive Jadine Syndrome" (OJD). In an episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice Ganda interviewed die hard Jadine fans and asked them about this syndrome. Apparently, some of its symptoms include shrieking and shouting, pulling one's hair, and even slapping the person beside you as soon as you see James Reid and Nadine Lustre being lovey-dovey on and offscreen.
