Aired in 2006 to 2007, Maging Sino Ka Man revolved around the four main characters in search of love and purpose amid a world so complicated. On a journey to taking back what rightfully belongs to him, poor but tough guy Eli developed special feelings for the socialite Jackie, who he met after an accident that took her memory.

While Jackie lived a simple life with Eli in the province, her family and boyfriend JB mourned over her loss. JB then found comfort and new love in the headstrong Celine. But Jackie’s return will shake everyone’s seemingly hopeful beginning, pushing Celine to a depressive state, ripping up JB’s heart in two, and revealing Eli’s strength and weaknesses in love.

The classic drama speaks of love and how it survives even when desire, betrayal, compassion, despair, obsession, faith hope, greed, vengeance and power collide.

Apart from its gripping plot, Maging Sino Ka Man also left an impact because of its iconic dialogues such as JB’s “I never said that I love you” to Celine. It also boasts a powerhouse cast consisting of screen veterans Christopher de Leon, Dick Israel, Irma Adlawan, Chin Chin Gutierrez, and Bing Pimentel.

It was such a phenomenal hit that a sequel had to be made. In 2007, Maging Sino Ka Man: Ang Pagbabalik  aired. The Book 2 added Angelica Panganiban, Toni Gonzaga, Derek Ramsay and award-winning actor Philip Salvador in the cast.
