Chill – as in relating to the spooky and macabre – by watching the full episodes of spine-tingling Kapamilya horror show Nginiiig via YouTube Super Stream. 

Aired from 2004-2006, Nginiiig is a horror-themed weekly documentary that told horrifying, true-to-life accounts of ghost and paranormal encounters shared by real people. The episodes combined interviews, re-enactments and psychic investigations.

In its pilot offering chunked into three stories, host Raymond Bagatsing brought a group of psychics in Li-Loan and San Francisco, Leyte to investigate about the restless souls that continue to haunt residents and family members after a tragic landslide in December 2003, which killed over 120 people. Raymond and the paranormal experts had a spooky experience, the latter almost possessed, while visiting the ruins of the landslide site.

Nginiiig was lauded for its creepy dramatizations interspersed with the witness or victim’s interviews. In one of its most remarkable and haunting episodes, because of its story and visuals, Raymond and his resident psychics investigated the account of a grieving father’s search for his missing daughter, who keeps on appearing in his dreams. Taking clues from the nightmarish visions, he discovered his daughter’s rotting corpse buried in an abandoned well.

There was also an episode wherein a woman from a small town in Antique narrated how her father slaughtered an ‘aswang’ and the most intriguing part was when she brought the Nginiiig crew to a house where an alleged family of ‘aswangs’ live.

The latter seasons were hosted by Jericho Rosales, then Hero Angeles with Maja Salvador, Rayver Cruz, and John Wayne Sace as guest co-hosts. Validating its reign on TV, Nginiiig episodes were turned into books under ABS-CBN Publishing.
