That said, our minds wander back to McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson’s sweetest moments on Star Magic Ball through the years. Check out these throwback photos:

In case you didn’t know, McCoy and Elisse graced the event together for the first time in 2013, way before they became “McLisse” in “Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7” (2016). If you’re wondering how and why it happened, the two have met on the set of the Kapamilya daytime series “Be Careful With My Heart” (2012). They played schoolmates in the teleserye.

But their destined love story would only blossom three years later after they’ve grown close as PBB housemates and an official loveteam. In 2016, McCoy asked Elisse to be his date to the ball during a live episode of “It’s Showtime.” In the episode, host Vice Ganda asked how excited McCoy is about the ball, which was happening later that night, giving him the chance to utter his piece.

McCoy first sought the go signal of Elisse’s mom, who was seated in the audience. After asking for parental approval, he faced his dream girl, “Pumayag na si Tita. Ang kulang na lang ay iyong ‘oo’ mo.” Nervous, he smiled, “Will you be my date, my princess?”

Come evening. Elisse would channel her inner princess in a white satin ball gown. Looking radiant, delicate, and refined, she brought home the “Belle of the Ball” award. McCoy matched his date’s outfit with a white coat and an equally infectious smile.

As if years have passed since the last Ball, Elisse switched from sweet to sexy in 2017. She sparkled in a sultry dress embellished with crystals and feathers, with a bejeweled hairpiece to match. She, and McCoy, who wore a classic black coat with white inner, had fun dancing the night away.
