BINI - Jhoanna, Stacey, Sheena, Maloi, Gwen, Aiah, Colet, and Mikha - opens a new era of P-Pop!

A career trajectory in the entertainment scene is a mysterious journey, often taking unexpected turns. For P-Pop girl group BINI, their breakthrough moment came with the release of "Pantropiko," a song that has shaken music streaming platforms.

Its catchy tune and infectious dance moves (which Sheena choreographed) became a phenomenon, leading to a well-deserved "Pantropiko" Day celebration on ASAP Natin 'To.

During an interview with MJ Felipe on "On Cue," the girls were overcome with emotion when told that they are only the second group after Sarah Geronimo, who had “Tala” Day, to achieve such a milestone with a single song.

The girls are completely blown away, never in their wildest dreams expecting fame to come like this. Yet, amidst it all, there are moments when life feels ordinary to them. More often, though, they’re struck with a surreal feeling about “Pantropiko”’s sudden success, which translates to sold-out concert tickets and growing fanbase.

Along with their newfound fame comes a twinge of fear – the fear of being just a flash in the pan. However, their inner circle reassures them that their current success is the result of countless hours of sweat, tears, and training.

“Natatakot kami na baka biglang nangyari, baka bigla rin mawala. Sabi namin, ‘Biglaan ba siyang nangyari?’ Pero sila mismo nagsasabi na, ‘Girls, hindi. Deserve n’yo ‘to. Pinaghirapan n’yo ‘to.’ Sana lang hindi siya mawala agad. So, kami, kahit medyo walang pahinga, hangga’t merong pumapasok na blessings, tanggap lang kami nang tanggap,” expressed Jhoanna, who stands as the group’s leader.

Things are really starting to pay off for BINI, who's found their sound in the bubblegum pop genre. It's quite the turnaround from the old days when they were out on the streets, practically invisible to people as they handed out flyers to introduce their group, which was formed through ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy in 2018.

It was beyond surreal when tickets for their debut solo concert were sold out in less than two hours that they had to add a second and third show to meet fans’ demand. The fact that people now recognize them by name and fans travel from far-flung provinces just to see them? It's like something out of a dream.

Their adoring supporters, affectionately dubbed as Blooms, have truly surpassed BINI's wildest expectations. The girls only aimed for hundreds of thousands of streams for their songs this year, now they're now blown away as those numbers have soared into the millions.

BINI is definitely here for the long haul, and they're not just about looking pretty. Their dream is to brandish Filipino talent on a global stage, but for now, they're focused on solidifying their name locally too.

These girls pour their hearts and souls into their group and into elevating the P-Pop scene. They don't just release songs or appear on shows for the sake of it. Their goal is to deliver top-notch performances and music that resonate with their audience. That's why it took them years to organize a solo concert; they built confidence in their music and skills first to make sure they’re thoroughly prepared.

Now, BINI is ready to be embraced by a wider audience. So, everyone, make way for our OT8!
