Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series is taking flight soon! Here’s a little tease of the chemistry Jane De Leon and Joshua Garcia are about to showcase in the much-anticipated teleserye, plus more characters in action.

In a series of behind-the-scenes photos released by JRB Creative Production, Jane, who’s playing both the iconic woman warrior and her alter-ego Narda, can be seen wearing an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) uniform while Joshua as Brian, Narda’s love interest, dons a cop’s costume.

The two characters interact at what appears to be a crime scene. Another snap shows them riding a police mobile operated by Joshua.

Jane alongside her fellow paramedics Young JV and LA Santos carries Mark Manicad playing Ali on a stretcher. As introduced, Mark’s character is the sidekick of Janella Salvador aka Regina, the vlogger-human counterpart of Darna’s arch nemesis, Valentina. So it just makes sense that Janella is also in that fictitious crime scene. In one photo, her character is seen walking fiercely to the crime scene while a reporter and firefighters stand behind her.

The outtakes also offer us a first look into the characters of Jeffrey Santos as a police officer; Simon Ibarra as Mayor Zaldy Ballesteros; Paolo Gumabao as the Mayor’s son, Noah; and Dawn Chang as Mayor Zaldy’s secretary.

One photo shows Zaijian Jaranilla as Darna’s sidekick, Ding, preparing for a scene in what appears to be a forest.

The cast of Darna: The TV Series hustle hard to meet viewers’ expectations but they also know how to make the most of their breaks in between takes. Check out their group shots in the albums!

Darna: The TV Series airs soon on Kapamilya platforms. Other cast members include Rio Locsin, Richard Quan, Levi Ignacio, Joj Agpangan, Zeppi Borromeo, Marvin Yap, Gerard Acao, Tart Carlos, and Yogo Singh.

Seasoned actress Iza Calzado will play a special role as the first Darna from planet Marte who will pass on the magical stone to Narda.
