ABS-CBN is the first Filipino You Tube channel to hit 1 billion views

Yet another digital milestone is achieved by ABS-CBN thanks to the millions of Kapamilya online viewers around the world.  The ABS-CBN Entertainment You Tube Channel hits the 1 billion mark in terms of views, making it the first Filipino channel to reach such a feat on the popular video-sharing website.  It naturally holds the first spot among all Philippine channels, followed by Kids\’ Toys and ABS-CBN News.

With over 1.6 million subscribers, the channel is a treasure trove of video content updated almost hourly.  From teasers and trailers promoting what’s coming up in all TV shows, to actual epsiode highlights and scenes from top-rating teleseryes, Kapamilya fans effortlessly get a taste of and get to share their their favorite programs and celebrities daily.  Some of the channel’s most viewed videos are awesome musical numbers from leading variety shows like ASAP 20 and It’s Showtime.  And all-time highs are brought in by the network’s heartwarming and invigoriting Station IDs which are always much-aticipated.  Still holding the record for having the most views at almost 11 million hits is the memorable 2009 Christmas Station ID dubbed “Bro, Ikaw ang Star ng Pasko.”
