ABS-CBN on Thursday, May 14, launched OKS or Online Kapamilya Shows, an array of snackable, interactive, and shareable straight-to-digital originals housed and streamed on ABS-CBN digital properties, with the premiere of the fun dating game “Paligayahin N’yo Ako,” featuring Ivana Alawi. Other top Kapamilya artists will headline these upcoming online shows, where avid viewers can once again enjoy that Kapamilya entertainment experience they’ve always embraced and loved through the years.
These digital-born programs, which are easy to consume yet fun and entertaining, are available for viewing on OKS.abs-cbn.com, ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and official Facebook page.
Premiering over the next few days are the OKS programs “Pamilya Ko-wentuhan” starring the cast of Pamilya Ko, “Harapan kay Mamang” with Pokwang, “KG Online” with Dimples Romana and Beauty Gonzales, “Love Thy Chika” with Ruffa Gutierrez and the Love Thy Woman cast, and “Promdibate,” a first-of-its-kind fliptop rap battle show with Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles.
More are set to stream, including the game shows “Hula Who” and “Bingo Ka Day” with Luis Manzano and the SINGvestigators of I Can See Your Voice, “4Ts” with DJ Jhai Ho, Darla Sauler, and MJ Felipe tackling the day’s trending topics, and “At Home With Banana Sundae” with the riotous Bananakada gang. In addition, we will get to see Kapamilya artists share their moments with their beloved pets in “KaPet Lang” and catch our beloved Magandang Buhay momshies—Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros in their new talk online talk show “Confessions With The Momshies.”
ABS-CBN took a deeper and wider step in the digital space with expansive and free online programming on OKS. This is to achieve its long-held strategy to further expand its presence in the digital universe.
The network accomplished several digital milestones recently with its YouTube channel gaining 27 million subscribers and 35 billion views, and its Facebook page garnering 23 million followers and 20 million likes. ABS-CBN News, meanwhile, has 9.29 million subscribers and over 6 billion views on YouTube, and 19 million followers and 18 million likes on Facebook. Cumulatively, ABS-CBN’s news and entertainment websites draw the largest audience in the Philippines, as the network launched the country’s only over-the-top (OTT) streaming service iWant in 2018. As such, ABS-CBN positions OKS to extend its digital influence and leadership in the service of the Filipino worldwide.
