She also has a heart for philantrophy work, a feat that her adoptive father, politician Kiko Pangilinan, is probably proud of. She has been a National Ambassador against Hunger of the United Nations' World Food Program (WFP) since 2008. In the WFP website, the actress explains: "Part of my job is to help WFP make hunger a big issue, so that it is seen as important as poverty and AIDS."

Theater and music also play big parts in the career of KC Concepcion. She released two studio albums: a.k.a. Cassandra in 2008 and KC in 2010. This love for singing is well infused in her performances as a thespian as she played key roles in the musicals "The Little Mermaid" in 2003, "Beauty and the Beast" in 2005, and the local play "Katy, the Musical Concert" in 2008.

The big screen also bodes well for KC. To date, she has appeared in three Star Cinema movies: “Forever and a Day” in 2011, “I’ll Be There” in 2010, and “For the First Time” in 2008.
With all these achievements at 31, we can only assume that we'll be seeing more of KC Concepcion in the next decades! Happy birthday, Kapamilya KC!
