What’s up with Team Sharon’s Top 3 Young Artists

Starting this Sunday, April 16, coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta are back in search for the next singing sensation in “The Voice Teens”.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta only became a coach of “The Voice” on the third season of “The Voice Kids”. Even in just one season, Team Sharon was already able to produce these young and very promising talents.

Let us find out where the young artists of Team Sharon are now and what have they done after their stints in the reality singing competition. Here are some updates of the successful contenders from Team Sharon.

JC Tan

After having a standout stint during the third season of “The Voice Kids”, JC continues to make audiences swoon with his voice. Under the team of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, he has grown to be one of the most promising talents together with his team mates. He had guest appearances in several events and Kapamilya shows. He can regularly be seen performing in Kapamilya noontime shows like “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP” together with his team mates Antonetthe Tismo and Alvin Dahan. Next school year, he will be in 8th grade at the Florentino Torres High School in Gagalangin, Tondo.

Antonetthe Tismo

From humble beginnings selling vegetables in Parañaque to help her parents at the young age of 13, Antonetthe sure has gone far. After getting all coaches to press their buttons, she joined Team Sharon and made a strong run at “The Voice Kids”. Unfortunately, she lost to Joshua Oliveros at the last round of the competition. The little dreamer’s singing didn't end there, nowadays, she performs at events and provincial shows and at the Sunday afternoon variety show “ASAP”. She is still pursuing her studies at the La Huerta National High School and she will be turning Grade 8 in the coming school year.

Alvin Dahan

Alvin has been a veteran in singing competitions in his hometown, Davao. After a shaky start having the whistle blown on him, he vowed to prove his mettle to both the judges and the viewers. He has never looked back after the setback and has come strong reaching the Top 3 of his team, together with JC and Antonetthe. Sadly, the title was not meant for him but his tenacious spirit cannot be deterred. He can still be seen pursuing his passion in performing nowadays at several mall shows and events and in Kapamilya variety noontime shows like “ASAP” and “It’s Showtime”. He is currently studying at the Erico T. Nograles National High School in Davao and he will perform for the ASEAN Summit on April 29.
