KC Concepcion: Conquering the Stage at 31
Maria Kristina Cassandra Cuneta Concepcion, or KC Concepcion, is a Filipina actress, singer, thespian, and philanthropist all rolled in one. Hitting past 30 just today, her knack for the performing arts is probably in her blood as she is the daughter of the one and only Megastar, Sharon Cuneta, and the 80s heartthrob Gabby Concepcion. As the child of a celebrity couple, it's not a surprise that KC has already appeared in her mother's concerts and television shows growing up.

Finally, in 2003, she formally entered the world of show business by being a product endorser both on television and in print. She also became one of the VJs of MTV Philippines until 2005. A year later, she joined her mother's talk show "Sharon" and stayed until 2010.
In 2008, she was given her own drama anthology series titled "I Am KC," which showcased her different talents in acting. It had four episodes.

After the series, she joined the teleserye "May Bukas Pa" topbilled by Zaijan Jaranilla. She played the role of Abby Cruz, a young woman who met Santino and became close to the orphan boy. Her character is the granddaughter of the owner of "Tocino King," a family business she's reluctant to accept as an inheritance.

KC then played the lead role in "Lovers in Paris" alongside Piolo Pascual and Zanjoe Marudo. The Philippine remake of the Korean drama was the first primetime teleserye of the actress who played the role of Vivian.

In April 2010, she started co-hosting "The Buzz" following Ruffa Gutierrez' departure from the show. Her stint on the entertainment talk show lasted until 2011. It was also the same year when she started performing on the ASAP stage.
