MOTHER'S DAY 2018: Netizens hail The Blood Sisters' Adele as the "pinaka na, da best pang teleserye nanay"

Mommy. Nanay. Mangs. Mamay. Mudra. Nanay. Inay.

We may call them through a variety of terms of endearment or courtesy, while they may express their affection and concern for us in different ways, but mothers are similar when it comes to unconditionally loving and unwaveringly supporting us all throughout.

As we celebrate Mother's Day, we thought of launching a fun survey on the ABS-CBN Official Facebook Page to ask the netizens who among the mothers of the on-going dramas is "finest of them all" for them.

The result? The Blood Sisters’ distressed Nanay Adele, portrayed by veteran actress Cherry Pie Picache, who's willing to sacrifice herself just to give a brighter future to her family and fight for them relentlessly.

Her runner-up is her fellow mommy in the same primetime series, Debbie, portrayed by Dina Bonnevie, who's ready to face everything in life and continuously guides her gorgeous triplets to grow into distinct, independent women.

Of course, Asintado mommies Miranda (Lorna Tolentino) and Hillary (Agot Isidro) made it to this precious list because of their formidable love for their children. Despite Gael (Paulo Avelino) being a product of an illicit affair and Samantha (Shaina Magdayao) not being a biological daughter, both didn't feel as if they're different as their moms' love is enough for them to feel secured.

The doting nanays of Bagani, Lila (Ana Abad Santos) and Malaya (Kristine Hermosa) also made the cut due to their absolute devotion and understanding for their children,  regardless if they’re hard-headed or cold-blooded, such as their respective sons Sarimaw (Ryan Eigenmann) and Lakas (Matteo Guidicelli) who are on opposite sides.

Albeit their protectiveness and anxiety towards their unica hijas Mona and Dani, Lena (Alma Moreno) of Sana Dalawa ang Puso and Regina (Carmi Martin) of Since I Found You still won the hearts of the audiences with their "cute" personalities that get us more hooked with the programs they star in.

Last, but definitely not the least is Precious Hearts Romances Presents Araw Gabi's Odessa, personated by another Rita Avila, who arguably spent most of her time in a day calling up his 32-year-old unico hijo Adrian to check him and tell him that they'll eat at the same time or request him to sing a song for her.

Happy Mother's Day!
