Hotties from Precious Hearts Romances dramas who set our screens on fire

Nine years ago, ABS-CBN enkindled a phenomenon that truly won our hearts, awakened the dormant kilig feels in us, and enlivened the hopeless romantics in us when they launched the Precious Hearts Romances Presents.

Apart from telling us different stories of romance, self-discovery, and anything in between, which were all adapted from the best-selling Precious Hearts Romances novels, we were also introduced to the unforgettable characters and, arguably, the sexiest guys our eyes have ever seen.

With the recent premiere of Precious Hearts Romances Presents Los Bastardos, which is based on Vanessa’s “Cardinal Bastards”, which stars the scorching and incredibly talented Jake Cuenca, Marco Gumabao, Diego Loyzaga, Albie Casiño, and Joshua Colet, let’s look back at other hunks who starred in other book adaptations in the series that made viewers shriek with their irresistible appeal.

Bud Brothers (2009)

Hotties from Precious Hearts Romances dramas who set our screens on fire 1

For its opening salvo, we were immediately presented eight charming princes comprising the fictional yet popular circle tagged as Bud Brotherswhose lives were changed by the special ladies who came into their respective lives. Together, they own a flower farm business, which was spearheaded by the driven Pio (Ahron Villena), and he was joined by his equally-dashing friends Vince (Jake Cuenca), Wayne (Rafael Rosell), Carlo (John Prats), Pete (Joem Bascon), Ed (Manuel Chua), Rei (Guji Lorenzana), and Monty (Will Devaughn).

Impostor (2010)

With the handsome Anthony Florencio (Sam Milby) as her husband, the probinsyana Devin (Melai Cantiveros) could not be blamed for assuming the identity of Mariz (Maja Salvador) after the tragedy they got into, and becoming the dutiful wife of the man of your dreams.

Hiyas (2012)

Splattered with intricately designed tattoos, not to mention his well-sculpted bod, it was truly hard to take our eyes off Zanjoe Marudo as he went topless most of the time in portraying Silang, the fierce warrior who was prophesied to bring back the long-lost mythical “hiyas” to the ethnic tribe of Tanah. Well, it was not only his fit physique that was bared, but other tribesmen as well.

Paraiso (2012)

Being stranded in a deserted island is arguably not too bad if you have a companion as dashing and caring as Brennan (Matteo Guidicelli), who never left Yannie’s (Jessy Mendiola) side throughout their sojourn, especially during the cold nights.

Araw Gabi (2018)

This is probably (and literally) the boldest scenes of JM de Guzman as he portrayed the mysterious Adrian Oldivar. Perhaps, this was just his way of greeting us on his much-awaited showbiz comeback after a three-year hiatus.

Expect your afternoons to be more sweltering as it’s raining men in the latest afternoon drama PHR Presents: Los Bastardos, after Kadenang Ginto on Kapamilya Gold.
