Kapamilya teleseryes spend the holidays in true Filipino spirit

Christmas is undoubtedly every Filipino’s favorite holiday. Decorations are hung as soon as the ber-months hit. Churches are crowded as family and friends follow the tradition of Simbang Gabi. And month-long sales welcome everyone’s 13-month pay. Aside from the parties and gift giving, Kapamilya teleseryes also featured the values that embody the holiday spirit.

Malia and members of La Liga Unida had a humble outdoor celebration. While they toasted for the peaceful Christmas, they also took this time to remember those who had passed and could not be with them.

Lola Flora imparted some wisdom to her family and the viewers of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. By setting herself as an example, she gave food to Kapitan and explained that Christmas is not just about giving gifts, but also giving kindness. Alyanna bought a gift for Cardo, despite his absence, and talked about the importance of praying and remaining faithful that Cardo will return. The cast also offered alternatives to making noise during the New Year, because safety is more important than celebrating the New Year with firecrackers.

In Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin, Bianca and Gabriel had a simple celebration with their whole family. There was a feast, and everyone exchanged gifts that showed how the price doesn’t matter because it’s the thought that counts.

And in The Good Son, together with some carolers Joseph invited Hazel and her mother to celebrate Noche Buena with his family.
