Among the eight participants of the second season, it was only her who wasn’t hailed as a weekly winner at least once. Nonetheless, she still dominated the competition with her explosive and feisty take on Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love”, which he started off by belting out the intro of “Love on Top”.
Most of the artists she impersonated were prominent divas, namely Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Thalia, Toni Braxton, Gloria Estefan, Imelda Papin, and Barbra Streisand. But among her stints, it was her impersonation of the teenage Lea Salonga, Jed Madela, Jinky Vidal, Ne-Yo, and the unlikely pair Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett that enthralled the judges the most.
The “Sultry Heiress” only attested that there’s right time for everything and everyone to fulfill our goals. We only have to trust the process and do our best.
