EARTHDAY JAM,the biggest, longest running environmental music tribute in the country is here and back in Quezon City.

Earthday Jam Foundation,Inc ---producer of the event for 18 year now announces the return of Earthday Jam to its bailiwick Quezon City on APRIL 28 at the Quezon Memorial Circle Grounds.  Co-presented by DENR and the Local Government of QC through the Office of Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte –the “jam” will feature more than 100 artists in a night of celebration and festivity marked with messages and discussions on the most crucial environmental issues  the world and the country is facing now.

This years’ theme focuses on W.A.T. (Water, Air and Trash or Solid Waste). “LIVE” concert startsat 5pm with Abra, Barbie Almalbis, Brownman Revival, Chicosci, Gracenote, Joey Ayala, Lou Bonnevie, Mayonnaise, Philia, Rouge, Sandwich, Slapshock, Sud, Tanya Markova,The Chongkeys  and many others.

Early participants can avail of Earth Day Jam 2018’s interactive booths showcasing art and drum sessions, an environmental puppet show, electric vehicle display, biking demo, organic stalls and other interesting exhibitions. “These exhibiting booths engage people to learn about Mother Earth through actual social participation with other guests.There will also be a film showing featuring environmental documentaries before the concert.”, muses Lou Bonnevie, president of Earthday Jam Foundation, Inc.

One of the highlights of the event  is GAIA Awards .This year’s awardees include green advocates Gina Lopez, Ipat Luna and the Environmental Science Institute of Miriam College along with Earthday Jam supporters Abra and Brownman Revival in the category of Earth friendly music artists. Special Citations will be given to the Peace and Equity Foundation and Lifebank Foundation.

There will  Earthday Jam Recyclable Trading will take place starting at 1 pm pushing the campaign on recycling with participants who will be bringing in paper, pet bottles and aluminum cans receiving concert VIP pass and freebies.
