Lucky Aces, winner of this year’s “Dance Kids” competition, recently visited Hong Kong and joined a “Happily Ever After Celebration.” Performing before thousands of international visitors, the Filipino-Canadian duo enjoyed a “moment of fame” as they danced on Hong Kong Disneyland’s Main Street, right before the “Flights of Fantasy” parade.
Joined by a group of Filipino cast members, Lucky Ancheta and AC Bonifacio wow the crowd and spread the happiness to everyone at the park by dancing to the tune of the 10th anniversary theme song.
Lucky and AC spent the rest of their holiday to enjoy the park’s brand new experiences specially prepared for the 10th anniversary, including “Mickey and the Wondrous Book” – a spectacular and unique live musical that takes the audience to a magical journey across a number of best-loved Disney stories.
The duo also shared a lot of fun and laughter in the park’s numerous attractions, e.g. Big Grizzly Runaway Mine Car and the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop.
During their visit, the pair met with many of their favorite Disney stars – taking selfie with Lotso in Toy Story Land, greeting the Stormtroopers who were patrolling in Tomorrow Land. The pair even taught Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Buzz Lightyear some cool hip-hop moves!
On its 10th Anniversary celebration, Hong Kong Disneyland continues to bring magic to people from all over. Filipinos who visit the park this year can enjoy the new attractions plus the enhanced “Disney in the Stars” fireworks spectacular which is made more dazzling with the advanced technology and the introduction of 16 newly added characters from “Inside Out,” “Finding Nemo,” “Big Hero Six,” “Cars,” etc. This stunning fireworks and castle projection make the perfect finale for a magical day at the park.
