Starting this Sunday, April 16, coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Sharon Cuneta are back in search for the next singing sensation in “The Voice Teens”.
Rock Icon Bamboo became a coach of “The Voice” on the very first season. Kamp Kawayan has produced just one winner, Elha Nympha for the second season of “The Voice Kids”.
To celebrate the achievements of the past contestants of “The Voice”, let us find out where are they now and what have they done after their stints in the reality singing competition. Here are some updates of the successful contenders from Team Bamboo or Kamp Kawayan.
Losing to Myk Perez in the semi-finals of the first season of “The Voice of the Philippines” didn’t stop Paolo from being the EDM Pop sensation that he is today. He has released his debut album “Pop Goes Standards” with 11 singles, two of which are original tracks. After the singing competition, he can be seen in “ASAP” together with other talented singers and other Kapamilya shows like Umagang Kay Ganda. He also had a solo concert in his hometown, Zamboanga. Since last year, the crooner has showed his musical range by switching his genre to EDM Pop and has released his second album “Handwritten” introducing singles like “Take You Down” and “LDR”.

After finishing third place in the first season of “The Voice Kids”, JK has been making waves in the industry. He released his album entitled “JK” and he continues to serenade his fans with his smooth voice. Showing his range as an artist, he has also become one of the country’s most promising actors. Debuting in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” playing himself, he continued to prove his acting skills in Kapamilya shows like “Hawak-Kamay”, “Ipaglaban Mo” and “Pangako Sa ’Yo”. He also became one of the contestants of “We Love OPM” and one of the celebrity housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother” Lucky Season 7. He is currently seen in the primetime series “A Love To Last” as Lucas Noble.
Elha has been rocking the stage in various shows and events of the Kapamilya network, proving why she won in the second season of “The Voice Kids”. Just last March, she brought the house down in the American talent show “Little Big Shots” performing Sia’s “Chandelier” which received a standing ovation. Recently, she continued to impress everyone in “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”, making impressive transformations of different music icons like Sharon Cuneta and Luciano Pavarotti.
After succeeding on his second try in “The Voice Kids”, Justin has been pursuing his dreams. Though he didn't win in the singing competition, his perseverance at a very young age brought him places. He appeared in Kapamilya shows like “Magandang Buhay”, “Gandang Gabi Vice” and “ASAP”. He also became one of the contestants of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”. He stunned the audience and judges with his incredible impersonations of famous music icons like Justin Timberlake, Bob Marley, Ed Sheeran, and Avril Lavigne.
