ABS-CBN subsidiary Creative Programs, Inc. (CPI) continues to grow its wealth of content as it introduces a new cable channel called TAG dedicated to foreign films dubbed in Filipino, bringing foreign cinema closer to Filipinos.

Starting today (Oct 19), TAG which airs on SKYcable (Ch. 77), will feature a mix of hit Asian and Hollywood movies segmented into five different programming blocks showcasing a collection of light rom-coms, critically-acclaimed dramas, action-packed movies, cult movies, thrillers and horrors, comedies, iconic Asian classics, box-office Asian movies, and the freshest Hollywood and Asian titles.

Filipinos can look forward to a stunning initial lineup of movies like the romantic drama film “Blue Valentine” starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, the political action-thriller on the manhunt of Osama bin Laden “Zero Dark Thirty,” the star-studded Hollywood thriller “Now You See Me,” and the comedy drama film “I Love You Phillip Morris” starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor, among many others.

As the Halloween season draws closer, TAG also features a slew of scream-worthy films including “Sadako,” “Shutter,” “Woman in Black,” “After Life,” and “Resident Evil 3.”

A number of films from neighboring countries will be also be screened, making TAG a platform for Filipinos to conveniently witness Asian films at the comfort of their homes. These include the Hong Kong-Chinese action film “Chinese Zodiac,” the Hong Kong martial arts film “Dragon Fist,” the Korean disaster film “Flu,” and the Thai comedy horror “Pee Mak.”

The team behind TAG also believes that exposure to foreign cinema will give an enriching experience and new perspective to Filipinos.
