Kaye Cal also sang an acoustic version of the song “Love Me For A Reason” during one of her gigs.

This Saturday, September 10, will be the start of “Pinoy Boyband Superstar”. Before the search for the next Pinoy boy band begins, let us sing along to some Kapamilya stars as they sing the famous hits of one of the most iconic boy bands of the 90s, Boyzone.

Boyzone was composed of Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch. The Irish boy band was formed in 1993 by Louis Walsh who was the man behind Westlife. They sold over 25 million records worldwide.  Last May 2015, the group arrived in Manila for their one-night concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. They also appeared on the defunct late night talk show “Aquino and Abunda Tonight”. Boyzone remains to be one of the most successful boy bands in Ireland and in the United Kingdom and in 2018, they will have a world tour to celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Join the search of the next Pinoy boy band with the superstar judges Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, Yeng Constantino and Aga Muhlach in “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” starting this Saturday, September 10. The show is hosted by Billy Crawford and it airs every Saturday at 7:15 pm and every Sunday at 7 pm on ABS-CBN Yes Weekend.
