This comes quite emphatic on one platform where ABS-CBN has made its content freely available for its loyal Kapamilya, YouTube. Aside from live on-air programming on Kapamilya Online Live and exclusives on Made for YouTube and show-focused channels, the main ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel has garnered massive subscriber following and views, owing to the exciting, heartwarming, tragic, inspiring, thrilling, awe-inspiring clips and full episodes of programs, and other official online video offerings from ABS-CBN.

As we wrap up 2021, let us revisit these ten fascinating, most watched videos uploaded on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel.

What would best get the most views on YouTube than a stirring drama from the longest-running anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya? Add to that the rare appearance on the program of the divinely gorgeous Liza Soberano, who played the 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach. Definitely, Queen P’s life story depicted on MMK “Korona” was an episode people wanted to watch repeatedly, as its re-airing in September made netizens play it on their devices. The full episode ranks 10th in our list, having 1,931,903 views as of this writing.



Dazzling and fabulous production numbers from ASAP Natin ‘To have always left Kapamilya viewers breathless. The Sunday concert party’s Dancefloor Princess Maymay Entrata had a showstopping, stunning number in June with the He’s Into Her young mavens Belle Mariano, Kaori Oinuma, and Criza Ta-a that came in ninth, with a whopping 2,037,914 views as of this writing.



Another spine-tingling, kilig clip from ASAP Natin ‘To left viewers swoon, thrilled and giddy.  Rock icon Rico Blanco had his first on-air duet with the love of his life, actress Maris Racal, singing their song, “Abot Langit,” from an episode last September that took 2,214,717 views (as of this writing), which is good for eighth place.



The madlang people had their say in taking a clip from It’s Showtime’s Madlang Pi-Poll segment into raking in 2,234,522 views (as of this writing) to place it at seventh in our list. This was when the premier Filipino hip-hop group Ex-Battalion participated in the contest, with Vice Ganda asking who among them is the current flame of Pastillas Girl, Angelica Yap.



Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan and P-pop phenoms BGYO led ABS-CBN’s Summer Special ID “Feel Good Pilipinas” last May that really had Kapamilya pump up the groove, even online, with its video getting 2,286,669 views as of this writing, making it land at number six.



And, after the summer, what else could generate a meaningful and touching video piece than the traditional full-length Christmas ID, which this year had the theme “Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa,” with 2,421,697 views as of this writing—making it land at fifth.



At fourth, another gripping, heartwarming MMK episode that aired in February touched the hearts of online viewers. MMK’s “Blouse,” a relatable story of a woman seeking the acceptance of her mother-in-law, starring Ria Atayde, Jake Cuenca, and Malou de Guzman, was the most watched episode of the drama anthology online with 2,460,075 views as of this writing.



A recap of the initial episodes from the current hit series Viral Scandal became the third most viewed ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube video this year.  The recap, which has garnered 3,208,125 views as of this writing, showed the well-threaded scenes leading to Rica’s (Charlie Dizon) unfortunate scandalous video that changed her life forever.



An unforgettable, heartbreaking episode of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano that drew the most number of concurrent viewers on Kapamilya Online Live at the time of its airing had reason for people to stay glued even on their devices. It was a tragic, turning point of Cardo Dalisay’s (Coco Martin) life with the fatal shooting of his beloved wife Alyanna (Yassi Pressman) by crossfire. This most talked about teleserye episode of the year that was first aired in January had a superb total of 3,657,261 views as of this writing.



This brings us to the most watched video on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel for 2021. Understandably, as Filipinos still face challenges and uncertainties amidst the pandemic and other ordeals the country is confronting, that message of assurance of being there for one another revitalizes and strengthens us. And at the onset of the Christmas season, the lyric video of the ABS-CBN Christmas ID “Andito Tayo Para Sa Isa’t Isa” was that proverbial shot in the arm for all Filipinos. When it was first uploaded in early November, netizens immediately felt that connection to the message, singing that meaningful anthem with all the Kapamilya stars as they watched it again and again on YouTube. Because of this, the “Christmas ID ng mga Pilipino” lyric video drew the largest YouTube audience with 6,305,079 views as of this writing.



This increasing viewership of Kapamilya programs and content online, particularly YouTube, not only defines a shift in audience preferences, but also a transition in taking quality to the next level, with better engagement and responsive programming.
