Manila, Philippines – Through the years, Colegio de San Juan de Letran has continuously produced award-winning films in various national and international competitions including the School of the Year during the inaugural of the Philippine Student Quill Awards.
This year, Letran will once again prove its excellence in film making through the annual CinemaKnights film festival, a showcase of 7 short films produced by Letran students.
It started in 2000 as Pelikuletran and in 2011 the Institute of Communication decided to change its name to CinemaKnights.
One of the seven (7) short films will be Last Two Minutes. The story revolves around Nestor, a father who makes a living through the game called “Ending”. One day, an unexpected dilemma challenged him to pay his own life.
CinemaKnights 2015 will have its premiere night on March 14 at the Student Center Auditorium of Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Regular screenings will run simultaneously from March 16-21 at the various halls in the Colegio including Mabini Hall, Quezon Hall, Del Pilar Hall and the newly-constructed Activity Center. Other films include Sabado, Selda, The Cramming, Message Sent, Balota Nga and Lost Plate.
Tickets will be sold at P25 each. For screening schedule, you may visit the official Facebook page of CinemaKnights.
