Kapamilya celebrities have endorsed and advocated Bantay Bata 163’s heroic efforts to rescue and uplift the lives of disadvantaged children. They have appeared on several touching promotional plugs through the years to spread awareness and appeal for aid in putting their honorable projects and programs into motion.

When Bantay Bata 163 was established in 1997, songwriter and Apo Hiking Society member Danny Javier was tapped to compose its theme song. Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Cris Villonco, a budding singer-actress at the time, recorded the song titled “Bantayan.”

Several other prominent Kapamilya personalities also showed their support for Bantay Banta 163.

Premiere Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual made a pitch for financial help in supporting Bantay Bata scholars

Vhong Navarro, on the other hand, also appealed for assistance on behalf of Bantay Bata 163’s Children’s Village. The It’s Showtime host told the story of Ronel, who was rescued by Bantay Bata 163 after being physically abused by his mother. He had since been sheltered at the Children’s Village to help him recover from the trauma of abuse.

Longtime Bantay Bata 163 supporter Pokwang had also appeared in a Bantay Bata 163 plug to promote and seek donations for the charitable organization’s medical service. She highlighted the tale of Eloy, who suffered an unfortunate kidney ailment at an early age. With Bantay Bata’s help, he was able to undergo a successful kidney transplant, thanks to generosity of its donors.

For their part, the King and Queen Of Hearts Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo and fellow A-list celebs Enrique Gil and Julia Barretto had endorsed Bantay Bata T-shirts to target their youthful fans.

Meanwhile, Anne Curtis also came forward to espouse Bantay Bata’s Bantay Kalusugan in the It’s Showtime host’s plug seeking aid for the community health and nutrition program.

Definitely, such celebrities aren’t merely focused on their craft and careers, glitz and glamour, they are also there to help in any way they can to uplift the lives of those in need, especially abused and exploited children under Bantay Bata 163’s care.
