Adrian (JM de Guzman) professes his love for Mich and asks for her hand in marriage to which the latter accepts. Meanwhile, Virgilio (Raymond Bagatsing) and Harriet (Ara Mina) enjoy a peaceful honeymoon until they find themselves intoxicated from a mysterious bottle of alcohol given to them. When they wake up, they are already tied up and find Odessa (Rita Avila) in their midst, who reveals herself as Celestina de Alegre, and her schemes to kill them and take the de Alegre wealth she so selfishly calls and defends her own. In the middle of her monologue, David (RK Bagatsing) arrives and demands for Mich and Adrian’s whereabouts. Before revealing it, Odessa asks him to prove his loyalty to her by shooting the newlywed.
As David prepares to shoot, Harriet begs for him to have mercy and spare their lives to which David only scoffs at before narrating the heartbreaking story of his life where he’s always left behind or withheld from the people he loved. Virgilio begs for him to see reason and accept the truth that Celestina (Rita Avila/Vina Morales) is the true murderer of Mia (Margo Midwinter) and Amber (Jane Oineza) but David remains stubborn to open his eyes to the truth, still convinced that Adrian is the true culprit.
He releases a bullet at Virgilio but ends up shooting Harriet who moves to protect him. Virgilio then begs David to kill him and spare his wife and daughter to which David angrily points out that they wouldn’t have been part of all this if they didn’t encourage Mich’s relationship with Adrian.
Afterwards, David heads over to Celestina and shows a photo of Virgilio and Harriet’s dead bodies, proving his loyalty. As Celestina praises him for a job well done, David heads over to Adrian and punches him in the gut—before unexpectedly handing him a pocket knife in secret to be able to break from his bonds.
It is then revealed how David discovered the truth when Red (Paulo Angeles), Tanya (Phoebe Walker) and Kiko (Eric Nicolas) come barging into Harriet and Virgilio’s hut to stop him from murdering them. Red forcefully shows him the video Amber took of Celestina admitting to her crimes, which made David see the light of truth that the woman had been using and playing him all this time. Wanting revenge, David ploys an escape plan to save Mich and Adrian from Celestina.
After getting Celestina’s trust, David charges and attacks her henchman. Soon, Adrian comes to help him as he breaks from the ropes. David then orders for Adrian and Mich to escape and leave Celestina to him. Unknown to the couple, Celestina is right on their heels as they’re preparing a boat that will take them out of the island. Celestina points a gun at the couple and shoots Adrian. Upon hearing the gunshot, David comes to the rescue but realizes that he’s out of bullets. Despite this, he charges bravely into the scene, determined to save Mich and Adrian, and points his gun at Celestina. The latter doesn’t hesitate to shoot him, however, and with three shots to his chest, David falls.
As Adrian tries to keep David alive, Celestina takes this as an opportunity to take Mich hostage and leaves the scene quietly. Adrian soon notices her absence and is prodded by David to go and save her. He soon finds the two at the edge of a cliff. However, Celestina slips from the edge, causing both of them to fall off. Adrian looks over the cliff in panic and finds the two hanging for dear life. He saves Mich first but hesitates to pull Celestina up. He eventually saves her, however, realizing that he wouldn’t want to be like Celestina—someone who is filled with hatred and envy for other people, which caused her to become the vengeful and murderous person that she is today.
After everything that has happened, Mich and Adrian finally get their happy ending. As they get married and began living the life they’ve always hoped for each other, they reminisce on their past: how their love story began and how that same love became their strength and helped them conquer through the many adversities they faced, leading them to where they are now.
Celestina is then brought to justice and is sentenced to a lifetime of imprisonment. As her children go and visit her, she asks for their forgiveness; telling them that what she did do not reflect who they are and apologizes for everything she has done. Tanya and Red express their love for their mother despite her mistakes and hopes that she would change for the better.
