In what is considered another stunning development in the continuing gripping narrative of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, Ellice (Iza Calzado) swallowed her pride and set aside her dignity all for the sake of her ailing daughter Hope (Kira Balinger).

In this momentous scene in the January 27 episode of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, Ellice begged for Marissa’s (Jodi Sta. Maria) permission to allow Jake (Grae Fernandez) to donate bone marrow for the leukemia-afflicted Hope, whose condition has turned for the worse.

After Marissa sternly turned down her tearful plea at first, Ellice did the “unthinkable” in their acrimonious conflict by kneeling down in front of her, beseeching her foremost enemy to save her child’s life by consenting to the procedure. 

 

 

Smirking a bit, Marissa knew this would be the perfect opportunity to get back at her bitter rival. While she did agree to her son’s transplant, it must come with a price. She would demand a conditional deed of sale of 50 percent Ellice’s ownership shares of her company Cenidoza Pearls in exchange for her approval.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She would also ask to have the agreement in writing, adding a non-disclosure agreement as a provision, prohibiting Ellice from disclosing details of their deal to anyone, or else she would have to give up 100% ownership of Cenidoza Pearls. Just for the sake of Hope’s recovery from her illness, Ellice agreed to it.

 

Visibly feeling triumphant, Marissa told her that she was getting back what Ellice’s family “stole” from her. “Umikot na ang mundo,” Marissa told Ellice. “Ngayon alam mo na ang pakiramdam ang pagigipit ng tatay mo ang tatay ko.”
