It has already been four weeks since Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, the newest teleserye of ABS-CBN, began airing and made our primetime viewing extra thrilling because of the dramatic and exciting scenes it offers in every episode.
As the happenings on-screen are usually hostile and intense, the mood off-cam are totally different – light, fun, and cordial – as seen on the behind-the-scene photos that we collated in this gallery.
Filming in the midst of this pandemic may be difficult and worrisome due to the terrible threat of the virus. But the hardworking, courageous, and passionate cast and crew of the series still made it possible for them to deliver new episodes to avid Kapamilya viewers now that most of us are staying at the comforts of our homes.
True to what the actors, directors, and production heads related in their past virtual interviews prior to the premiere of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, we can see that they’re indeed abiding by the safety and health protocols implemented by the government.
They strictly observe physical distancing at all times, as well as the appropriate wearing of facemasks and face shields, especially whenever the reels are not rolling. In these images, we could see Jodi Sta. Maria and Iza Calzado, who compellingly portray the roles of best friends Marissa Pineda and Ellice Ceñidoza-Villarosa, have their masks and shields on before and after each take and just take them off everytime they have to get dolled up, be retouched, or shoot a scene.
We could say that this teleserye is indeed a collaborative effort not just among the production staff, but with the actors as well, as they seemingly impart their inputs on how certain scenes should be better executed – as seen in these shots showing Iza and Jodi. They don’t simply study the script scrupulously and listen intently, perhaps, to the instructions of the directors, but also express their thoughts and suggestions at the same time.
