While avid viewers of Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin were already aware that Marissa Pineda (Jodi Sta. Maria) was already back in town – fiercer, bolder, and wiser, it was only on the exciting episode 74 broadcast last Thursday, November 26, when her best friend-turned-nemesis Ellice Cenidoza-Villarosa (Iza Calzado) and its husband Gabriel (Sam Milby) found out about her ultimate comeback.
As expected, both of them, and even Gabriel’s sister Sonya (Desiree Del Valle) who also attended the grand launch of La Sierra-Manila, were shocked to see Marissa emerge in front of them, cladded in a glittery maroon gown with ruffled neckline and shining in her blond hair.
Wearing her sly smile as she proudly stood on the carpeted stage, she welcomed everyone in the hall through a powerful opening remark that truly irked Ellice and made Gabriel stupefied. Meanwhile, Sonya was apparently glad with the return of her old friend, who almost became her new sister-in-law.
“…The industry has long been comfortable with the status quo. Matagal nanahimik, walang kalaban. Pero pagdating ng La Sierra, marami ang nabahala, natakot, nangamba dahil baka manaig ang La Sierra at maagaw ang posisyong matagal nang pinanghahawakan,” Marissa stated.
She further assured the investors and other guests present that they made the right choice of trusting her jewelry business as “La Sierra will fight and will definitely win!”
As soon as she stepped down from the stage, the furious Ellice immediately approached her and told her, “Sinasabi ko na nga ba, ikaw ang may pakana ng lahat ng ito.”
To which Marissa sarcastically replied, “Ellice, Ellice. ‘Di ka pa rin nagbabago. Look at you, still a sore loser.” This absolutely infuriated Ellice, but Gabriel was able to stop her from attacking Marissa and causing a commotion.

While the scenario off-cam could be serious oftentimes, but the cast members make sure to still have fun in between takes – without forgetting to wear face masks and observing physical distancing, of course!
